Mike Horan
Mike Horan began writing and directing films while attending Community College in Melbourne, FL, in 1995.  He then studied Theater at Florida State University, and received a degree in Film Production from Florida Metropolitan University in 2000.  While there, he made his first student short, PRIORITIES, with Thomas Mumme.  After graduation, he, alongside Mumme and long-time collaborator Mike Misconi, wrote and directed the independent short film THE TREATY.
In 2004, after a successful festival run, Horan went on hiatus from filmmaking to serve in the U.S. Army.  His tour of duty took him to the 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, which was deployed for 14 months in Kalsu, Iraq. Even while fighting on the front lines in Iraq, Horan continued to write screenplays for Blue Juice Films. Having finished his tour of duty with the United States Army, Horan is now living abroad in Australia.
